From April 23rd to April 27th, 2026, the Changwen team was on the floor of the 139th Canton Fair at Hall 5.2, Booth G26-27 — and what a five days it was.

The China Import and Export Fair once again proved why it remains the world’s most important sourcing event. Buyers from over 100 countries filled the halls of 380 Middle Yujiang Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou — and we were proud to be among the manufacturers ready to meet them.

Now that the fair has concluded, we want to take a moment to reflect on what happened, share some highlights, and — most importantly — reach out to every buyer, partner, and visitor who stopped by our booth.

What We Showcased at Hall 5.2, G26-27

The Changwen booth was designed around one idea: show, don’t tell.

Rather than relying on brochures and catalog sheets, we built our display around the products themselves — allowing buyers to handle the cookware, test the knife balance, feel the weight of our dinnerware, and see the quality of our non-stick coatings and stainless steel finishes up close.

What Buyers Were Looking For in 2026

After five days of conversations with buyers from over 40 countries, several clear themes emerged in what the market is seeking right now:

1. Sustainability credentials matter more than ever. Buyers — especially from Europe — are asking about material sourcing, production energy use, and packaging sustainability. This is no longer a “nice to have” in buyer conversations; it’s becoming a baseline requirement.

2. Shorter lead times are a competitive differentiator. Post-pandemic supply chain experiences have made buyers more sensitive to lead time reliability. Manufacturers who can demonstrate consistent on-time delivery records stand out significantly.

3. The OEM opportunity is growing. More buyers are looking to build proprietary brands rather than resell generic products. Custom branding, exclusive designs, and private-label programs were among the most common discussion points at our booth.

4. Quality documentation is non-negotiable. Serious buyers arrive with certification checklists. Being able to produce FDA, LFGB, CE, and other certification documentation immediately builds credibility and accelerates purchasing decisions.
